Levi Stafford: I grew up in Flint Michigan and moved to Springfield MA in 2010. I always had a knack for singing, and can keep a tune, but to be honest my voice is not that great. I have performed weekly in live orchestrations at a young age, playing the trumpet… I’ve performed solos, live in plays and concerts. I started playing keyboard when I was 13, but dropped it completely when my brother bought a guitar. I started playing guitar, writing and recording at the age of 15 years old. I still go back and play some of that old stuff and get ideas from that young version of me. As far as my music goes… I write love songs mainly, but they are a little bit of everything… folksy, rock, and even sometimes an emphasis on orchestral back up sounds. You will hear a wide range of octaves in my singing, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, and trumpet in my music. I sing/write/play/record, and I work full time in the hospital as a unit secretary. I fill my free time with Facebook live performances and studying for a career change in IT that has been a long time coming. Ideally I would give everything up for a music career, but I am happy to play, jam, record and be a part of the Springfield Cultural Partnership. I really can’t wait to see what’s in store for this upcoming year.
