Springfield Cultural Partnership in team effort with the Drama Studio, MASSCreative, Springfield Creative City Collective, and Western Mass Economic Development Council hosted a small gathering at the Drama Studio in January 2024 for MassCreative’s Creative Advocacy Week. Representatives at the Federal, State, and City level joined together in support of arts & culture advocacy in Springfield, MA.  Thank you, to all who participated throughout the week to emphasize the vital importance of working together to nurture the creativity of Massachusetts. A special shout-out to FOCUS Springfield for the amazing advocacy video (above).
Springfield was one of 373 communities/regions to participate in AEP6 which gauges the economic impact (jobs, government revenue, household income) of spending by nonprofit arts and culture organizations, and the event related spending by their audiences. See the inspiring outcomes here.
